Courage pt.2

Sorry it took me so long to get this post up! A few days ago I posted on courage; I promised that my next post would be filled with scriptures about courage. I accidentally lied and posted this post about Thanksgiving. So without further ado: Courage part 2!
Yeah, I know Halloween was last month, but part 1 had it & I wanted to stick with the theme...

22 Brethren, shall we not go on in so great a cause? Go forward and not backward. Courage, brethren; and on, on to the victory! Let your hearts rejoice, and be exceedingly glad. Let the earth break forth into singing. Let the dead speak forth anthems of eternal praise to the King Immanuel, who hath ordained, before the world was, that which would enable us to redeem them out of their prison; for the prisoners shall go free.
(D&C 128:22)

But we can take courage from the Lord’s promise that His “grace is sufficient ... [to] make weak things become strong” (Ether 12:27). (How can relying on the Savior’s grace help me become a better teacher?)

, “Be of good cheer, and do not fear, for I the Lord am with you, and will stand by you” (
D&C 68:6).

1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the Lord thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
(Deuteronomy 20:1)

7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest (Joshua 1:7)

11 And, behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the Lord; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, for all the king’s matters: also the Levites shall be officers before you. Deal courageously, and the Lord shall be with the good. (2 Chronicles 19:11)

4 Arise; for this matter belongeth unto thee: we also will be with thee: be of good courage, and do it.
(Ezra 10:4)

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
(2 Timothy 1:7)

I love all these scriptures! I love memorizing them- they are such good comfort! Courage is such a powerful, amazing attribute!
Have a Great Day!
