making the best of (maybe even enjoying) school

so... it happened.. the dreaded school started. #isurvived1stquarter

and we've officially survived. whew. i think most people have been in about a month but i just finished my first quarter since we started way back on august 10th. whaat? september's over? it's crazy how time flies when you're having fun (????)

I definitely don't hate or even totally dislike school but i'm not sure it's 100% possible to look forward to the start of school after so many months of late nights, late mornings, friends, adventuring, and doing what you want.

all that said, i definitely 100% beleive that it's possible to be happy at school & not die, maybe have a little fun, laugh, and not totally dread waking up in the morning (i know leaving your warm sheets is pretty much the worst thing ever but after that it's not so bad right? especially if you have some rad jams to listen to while you get ready. (i have a ton for you right here)

i'm definitely no expert but here's the best tips i've got. & i've officially survived a quarter of this school year without being overly stressed and being pretty happy with my life so i'm pretty sure they're legit:)

1. Don't stress
Stop it right now. School pretty much equals stress but please try not to fret the little stuff. Yes, you should probably start working on your 5 page paper that's due tomorrow but don't stress about that the whole day when you can't do anything about it because all that's going to do is ruin your whole day. After a big test try really hard not to worry about what you got on your test because it's done, as sad as it might be you can't change the score now so really try not to worry about the outcome. And then when you get the test back and maybe you didn't do as well as you would have liked try to set a goal for next time & move on with your life because why stress about what you can't change.

2. Don't stop adventuring
Let me clarify what i define as an adventure. To me an adventure is anything that is a little out of the ordinary and might be a little exciting. When I think of summer i think of lots of small adventures. Late night fires, playing basketball until late at night with my brother, watching the stars, daytime hikes, silly times with your friends, staying up late and watching movies, kayaking, swimming, trying something new, learning how to do something new. s'mores, jamming out, driving with all the windows down and feeling the wind in your hair, spontaneous outings. Obviously big adventures are tons and tons of fun, but i think that these little adventures are what makes life so worthwhile. So keep on adventuring. Make good choices but decide to stay outside and look at the stars, get ice cream spontaneously, watch a funny movie, take a random dance break in the middle of your homework, stay up late talking about something deep, keep laughing, and keep having (responsible) fun. I mean i stayed up until 10 last night watching Legally Blonde so i'm obviously living the party life...haha:) but really don't let all the summer magic wear off!

3. Grow your circles
I was horrible at this last year but try to find a small group of friends in each class. Someone to text if you need help with homework or to group up with if you have a project. i know it's so much easier to just keep to yourself and hide behind your phone, but once you get past that little bit of awkwardness school will be 10x as fun! they don't have to be your new besties or anything, just some fun people to joke around with ya know? people can totally surprise you. i've had classes in the past where i got sat by someone who i thought was "popular" or mean or something else but most of the time i'm totally surprised and we become great friends.

4. Try to keep up some good habits
I definitely wasn't ms. perfect this summer, but there were several good habits i finally sort of mastered. scripture study was one of them, i've always loved the scriptures but haven't been the most consistent. i was finally able to read daily for a few months and i don't want to lose that habit! Choose one or two good habits to keep going with & it will make the transition easier, plus you'll have a few new awesome good habits and who doesn't want that?

5. Seminary (!!!)
ah man i could write a book about how much i love seminary! (please consider that i leave my house at 5:30 am so i can get to seminary and then think about how awesome it must be) seriously, go. to. seminary. it is the best thing on the planet. it's such a huge spiritual boost for your day! i love getting to start my day with the scriptures, awesome people who help me become better, and then getting to school already awake and most of the time pretty happy cause of my awesome morning. it's the best!

6. Make memories
The homework can wait, sleep is overrated, and high school is short. you're only going to be young once so make good choices but live it up! Choose to hang out with your friends one night, don't skip mutual for homework because you'll definitely have more fun at mutual, don't skip family game night for more sleep cause sleep will always be there but before you know it you're going to be packing up and leaving your dear fam. I figure that everything will fall into place when you put what needs to go first first.

(i would add don't procrastinate to this list but i honestly haven't mastered this...like at all...so i can't write about it from experience.. but i've heard that actually starting assignments before the day before they are due or you know, the morning they are due works wonders though haha)

so i guess i'll just wrap this up with a huge good luck cause you're gonna rock this school year. high school isn't forever so live it up while you can, but also don't die when you do something embarassing okay?

best of luck!

A Babysitters Guide Pt 4: Tips for Parents

This last post it a little different in the series, but there are certain things that can make a babysitters job so much easier!

  • Wifi Passwords// One of the awkwardest things about babysitting is deciding if I can ask for the wifi password. I only plan to use it after the kids are asleep but I am afraid the parent will think I am going to neglect their child or feel like I am intruding their privacy. If you trust your babysitter and are okay with giving them the wifi password then just give it to them! Don't put them through the awkwardness of asking!
  • Let them know the expectations// One of the hardest things while babysitting is remembering you forgot to ask when/how something should happen. Then you are left to wonder if the child is telling the truth, taking advantage of you, or has any idea what they are talking about. Making rules or expectations clear can save a lot of frustration for both the babysitter and the parent. This is especially important if you are switching babysitters. For example, if your first babysitter always washed all the dishes and swept the floors but you come home to find that your new babysitter hasn't then give them a chance. They might not realize what you expect.
  • Routines.// If your read your child two stories every night and sing them a song while they drink from their favorite sippy cup (or any other bedtime, dinner, nightly routines) make sure you tell your babysitter about these! It will make the night so much smoother! There is nothing worse than trying to put a kid to bed, but they won't go to sleep and are crying and you have no idea why. By letting your babysitter know what your child will expect your kids will be happier and will be a lot more excited the next time a babysitter comes instead of remembering the "scarring" experience they had with the last babysitter.
  • The Drive// When you pick up/drop off your babysitter it is super important to make some small talk. Sometimes it is harder for a teenager to come up with topics to ask the parent about because they don't want to be intrusive or the questions just sound awkward and snoopy. For example, how was work sounds weird, but it's totally normal for adults to ask about school. Does that make sense? If you are stuck on topics some pretty no fail topics are: school (classes, homework load, favorite class, etc.), extracurricular activities, hobbies, what you have in common (when I say this I mean your connection. I usually know that people that hire me, so how you know them is a good topic. For example, if someone from church hires me we can talk about church activities.), upcoming events/holidays (what are your plans for Christmas/summer/thanksgiving? School breaks are a good one for this too. Holiday specific questions can draw it out a bit- are you dressing up for halloween? Do you have any favorite traditions you do each year for _____?), and lastly current things and observations always work too. (The weather, the sunset is pretty, etc.) I know some of these seem super awkward but a lot of the time you can get started on a topic and keep going with it for a while, and even if you think your observations about the weather are awfully boring, I'm sure your babysitter will appreciate your effort to prevent awkward silences.
By doing these things your babysitter will feel so much more comfortable! The instructions and picking up of the babysitter make a huge difference in the way the night goes and these few tips will make the night better for you, your kids, and your babysitter!

Babysitters Guide Pt 3: Babysitting for Clients

The third part of this series is about hired jobs for clients (vs. babysitting your siblings). You can see all of the posts here.

  • Ask where things go// There's nothing worse than not being able to find the plates for dinner or wipes to change a diaper. Or when you're trying to clean up the house but you cannot figure out where any of the toys go for the life of you. It stinks. So ask a few questions before they leave. You don't have to ask where every single toy goes but a few simple questions such as "do all the toys go in here?" "where is the broom?" or "do you mind showing me where the silverwear is?" can go a long way to make your night easier.
  • Find out where cleaning supplies are// This will super impress who you're babysitting for and make your job a lot easier so you aren't scrambling to find things. It will also help you if a sudden spill occurs! There's nothing that makes you feel worse than a stained couch! With kids messes are bound to happen, be prepared!
  • Get cell numbers and bedtimes!// Cell numbers is a no-brainer (but make sure you only call them if it is an emergency) and make sure you know when to put the kids to bed. You don't want older kids taking advantage of you or younger kids getting grumpy! Another important thing to note is the address in the rare case that there is an emergency that requires you to call 911.
  • Pay// Every family is different so let them pay what they think is best. If you end up having a huge problem with what they paid you can decline the job next time, but don't bring it up then because you never know how they are doing financially.
  • Bring some new toys// Kids absolutely love new toys to play with. I usually gather about 3 small toys/board games from home and bring them. It gets the kids pumped up and it makes you babysitting more of a treat because they get to play things they don't usually get to play with.
  • Distraction is best// One of the hardest parts of babysitting for other families is when the parents leave. Children might be a little scared, especially if you don't know them too well. Distraction is your bff. This is a great time to pull out one of the games you brought, start a game of duck duck goose in the other room, or begin eating dinner while mom and dad slip out quietly. It works super well if the parents say their good byes before they actually leave and then slip out a few minutes later.
  • Ask mom about movies// In my post about Babysitting Siblings I talked about watching movies. While this can be fun when babysitting other kids too, make sure you ask the parent. They may have certain rules about tech time and movie standards that aren't the same in your family.
These are just a few basic guidelines! Is there anything I missed?

A Babysitter's Guide Pt.2: Siblings

For some people a night babysitting your siblings can be torture. And while it can be exhausting at times, it is one of my favorite things to do. Me and my 3 younger siblings have made countless memories and fun times while being home alone (and all of them have been following the rules.:) All of the tips from part 1 most definitely apply, but there are a few things that are specific to just watching siblings.

  • Everyone pitches in// This one is so important when you're home alone with your siblings. They can make huge messes and don't always want to respect you when you ask them to clean up a bit. Most of the time my siblings are willing to help out if I ask nicely and give everyone a job. If this is something you struggle with a lot then it might be helpful for your parents to assign everyone jobs before they leave. Another tactic that works almost 100% of the time is offering a treat. Ex. If everyone does their chore then we can watch a movie, have some popcorn, eat brownies, etc. Make sure you do it fairly! You don't want one sibling doing all the work or you delegate so much that you don't do anything. Make sure the chores are given fairly. For example I can't expect my 4 year old sister to load the dishwasher, but I can ask her to bring in all the cups and forks from the table, etc. Never use jobs to take advantage of your siblings- just encourage everyone to pitch in and you will have a lot more time for fun, plus you will be in a much better mood!
  • Plan some fun things// This one is super important too. Sometimes a calm night might be best, but usually it will be a lot more fun if you plan something. Watching a movie, playing a game outside, having a picnic, or doing a craft are always big hits in our family.
  • Think of who you are babysitting// This can be hard when you're not related to them, but it is super easy when you're babysitting family! There are few people you know better than your siblings, use it to your advantage! I know my younger sister loves to ride her bike, play outside, play uno before bed, have a small snacks, jump on the trampoline, pick what we play, and watch disney shows. By scheduling some of these things in  and really playing them up it can make her night.
  • Movies are fun// I'm not a huge supporter of TV all the time, but having a movie night + popcorn is a great way to spend a little time together and it feels like a huge treat (especially to younger siblings.)
  • A little less supervision is okay sometimes// Especially when your siblings are older, they may want a little more space and time by their selves. Make sure they're safe, but let them have some space when they need it.
  • Fights// They are your siblings and you love them to death, but a fight is bound to happen at some point when you are home alone. Just try to keep your cool as a babysitter and leave the situation if appropriate. Your sibling has probably just had a rough day or is feeling tired so try being kind. The key is to stay calm and not get emotionally involved. I know it is extremely difficult but do your best!
  • Quality time// You are stuck at home alone so you may as well have a good time right? Especially when it is just me and 1 other sibling then it is a lot more laid back and fun. I try to let them pick the activity and just roll with it.I know I have said this several times, but just make them feel special! It makes such a difference and can really strengthen  your relationship with them! It makes my brother (11) super happy when I treat him like an adult, spend time with him, and let him stay up a little later (with permission from our parents of course:).
I know that siblings can be a pain, but I also know that they can be your best friends. I love getting to spend time with my siblings and I love the close relationships it helps us form! Babysititng siblings can be the worst night of your week or the best- it's up to you!

I suggest choosing the best:)

A Babysitters Guide Pt 1

Kids are great.

I love their spunk, humor, and joy for life. One of my favorite ways to earn a bit of extra money is babysitting. Between my siblings' hectic schedules and paid jobs I've babysat quite a few times and I thought I would compile some of my best tips. There will be 4 parts to this series: 1) Babysitting in general 2)Babysitting Siblings 3) Babysitting for others 4)A babysitters advice to parents who hire (Don't worry! They are all typed and scheduled so you aren't left hanging:)

One thing to note is that you should think about who you are babysitting before you think about these tips. For example, when my brother who is almost 12 is home he doesn't always do the "special things" and I just make sure he is okay. I try not to boss him around, but the helping rule still applies:) Some kids like more space, while others want a lot of attention. It is super important to know your kids and think about their personality, age, etc.!

  • Let the kids help// Now I'm not talking you sitting on the couch while they clean, but let them help you with simple tasks. Clean up their toys, take their plate to the sink, etc. What you can get help with will vary on the age of who you are watching, but don't save all the work for after the kids are in bed.
  • Set aside (at least) 30  minutes for bedtime prep// You think it will only take 20 minutes to put on their pjs and put them to bed, but things will always pop up. " I'm thirsty" "My Mom always does ____" I can't find any pjs" Or the baby decides to cry, something spills, the kid procrastinates, etc. 30 minutes is a good general rule, but it might take longer so plan accordingly.
  • It will take longer than you think//Tying into the previous point. Everything will take longer so plan for it to. No parent wants to come home at 10 and have all their kids who were supposed to be in bed at 7 just putting on pajamas.
  • Make time a game. Sometimes time will sneak up on you and you realize that it's 15 minutes until bedtime and no one is even close to ready. Making it a competition or a game can really speed things up. Delegating different jobs to kids and then having them race to finish them can help too. This can stress some kids out or bring out sibling fights so be careful.
  • Make a plan// Right after the parents leave I like to call a "meeting" where we go over what kids want to do (sometimes they have big plans...like playing tag and hide and go seek;), when we are eating, if they want to watch a movie before bed, etc. Then I make a mental schedule (leaving in extra time for things that come up) and if the kids are older I tell it to them so they aren't caught off guard when bedtime comes. This helps avoid whining, 5 more minute requests, and aww we didn't do this!
  • Make it special// Every time my mom leaves I say to my 4 year old sister "Guess what?!? I get to babysit you! <insert really big "this is so fun" smile> She still exclaims YES!! with a hug each time even though I have babysat her tons of times. Why? Because we have associated babysitting with a fun thing. If mom leaves and it is just me and her but we don't declare it official babysitting, she doesn't get excited. I try to make it a little "party", watching a movie with popcorn, playing a fun game, decorating cheap party hats with dollar store stickers, and giving kids undivided attention can really make it seem like a party. I think this would be my number 1 tip: Make it a party!
  • Leave it cleaner than you found it// One thing that my mom always loved about sitters when we were younger was when they left the house super clean. Was the sink filled when she left? It made her night when the dishes had been moved to the dishwasher and the pots had been washed. ALWAYS, no matter what, clean up messes you and the kids made, but if you want to really impress leave it cleaner than it was before you got there.
  • Lay down the law// For some reason kids really like to trick babysitters or pull out all kinds of excuses. Definitely don't be harsh, but do let kids know you expect them to listen to you. I have never had to deal with any terrible kids, but sometimes a kid decides to procrastinate picking up, going to bed etc. Usually a gentle reminder will help them get back on track, I have found that sometimes they genuinely get distracted and just need a reminder. Never be mean and scary, but don't let yourself be taken advantage of.
These are just some basic tips that have helped babysitting go so much smoother for me! What are your best tips and tricks? Don't forget to check back for the next post in the series!

How to be Happy According to Nephi {Guest Post for Eden}

Hello fabulous readers! I just wanted to share the link for the guest post I did for Eden. She posted over here a while ago and it was great!

This post is kind of a follow-up to my post about why doing hard and/or strange things makes me incredibly happy.

Here's an excerpt from part 1:

"I promise you. I choose to do all of this 100% on my own.
So why? Why oh why? Why why why?
Because it makes me so incredibly happy. Giddy really. Overjoyed. Elated. Can't wash the smile off my face kind of happy."

My guest post talks about how Nephi and his people lived "after the manner of happiness" and how we can acheive that today. It's a fool proof recipe for happiness straight from a prophet of God! How crazy amazing is that?

read it here.

Have a wonderful day and don't forget to check out my latest post on Eden's blog!

Super Duper Easy DIY Magnets

For my birthday I recently got a magnet board, but it only came with 2 magnets, What?!?  I totally wanted to hang more than 2 things so I decided to make my own!

There are so many things you can make magnets out of. The bracelet that doesn't fit. The earrings that are missing a match. necklaces. Anything!

A few years ago someone gave me this bracelet as a gift and I thought it was super cute! The only problem was it wouldn't fit on my wrist and it was a little to bulky. I often wear bracelets on my right hand (it just feels more natural) but I can't wear bulky ones because they hurt when I write.

 So in 3 simple steps I had 5 new magnets!

1. Cut them apart with pliers
2. Use Gorilla glue to stick magnets on.
3. While they are drying go online and find some super cute prints to hang up or go through your camera roll and pick some cute pictures to hang up.

Pretty easy, huh? I thought they turned out super cute and they look great on my magnet board holding up some pictures and cute prints! I'd love to see what you make magnets out of or what you decide to hang up! So post it on instagram and tag @moorelightshine_blog for the chance to get a shoutout!

What else can you think of to make magnets out of?

Have a great day!

The mistake that almost ruined my blog & how to fix it + other google+ tips

If you recall this post, I accidentally deleted all pictures off my blog. Through Google+. So today I wanted to tell you all how to avoid this tragic mistake, but if you already have, how to fix it.

How to avoid:

I accidentally clicked on this "deadly box"

And that my friends is what caused all of my troubles. I was confused about it's meaning so I clicked it. I know it was totally my fault and I really should have read Learn More, I just want to warn people- do not click this box- it will not be good!

How to fix it:
To be honest I am not 100% sure how I fixed it, but this is what I am pretty sure happened.
After they all disappeared I started to upload the basic ones for my design (header, about me pic, etc), then I began updating and reposting pics. As I did this I shared a few posts on google+ and put them in my Moore Light Shine folder. I had previously unchecked the setting above, but it wasn't until I uploaded photos that they came back. No promises this will work for you, but it really saved me!

If you can't fix it
Then take this opportunity to revamp some posts. Fix that really bad graphic from one of your earliest posts, edit that one post you wrote super late. Clean out a few posts that are irrelevant, repin, and reshare some old posts, organize tags, etc. I redid my cherry crisp post. This was one of my very first posts so it was super bad. The pics were blurry, the fonts didn't match, and I had a pic for every single step which was way too much! So I went back, took the best pic I could find from the photos and edited it in a way that concealed some of the mistakes. I then deleted the old pics, rewrote a few things (grammar mistakes, promises of a blog series that never happened,,whoops..... reformatted  ingredients and instructions into easy to follow lists, etc) Now the post looks a lot cleaner, is easier to read, and really simplifies the recipe. So even though it stinks that you can't fix it, take the opportunity to improve your blog!

Very Important Note about Google+ Photos;
What ever is downloaded to your blog, even if it is just a draft or is deleted out of a post, is saved. This is something to be careful of if you accidentally upload a picture of your house, what city you live in, etc that you plan to delete (ex, you are uploading multiple photos and it is on the same row so you click it accidentally). If this happens you can click on the photo and delete it, note that if you delete a photo off google+ it will disappear off your blog. Other thing to note... if you want to delete your Google+ be careful not to delete your google account because it will delete your blog(s) to. Luckily I read the read more and ended up not deleting my Google+ or blog.... that was very good.

Last, but not least...
So I know you all are dying to know... how can I follow you? Haha;) Thanks for asking! Follow me here.

Perfection

 photo Its kind of hard to be perfect_zps9hnvvnld.png

Becoming Perfect can be tricky.

There is so much to do!

You have to be kind to everyone, pray every day and night, read your scriptures, complete personal progress, attend church each Sunday, do family history, include everyone, share the gospel, index, get all a's, never be late, spend hours getting ready, etc

Whew! I'm tired after just typing that!

I love a recent new era articles comparison, "trying to become perfect all at once is like trying to up a mountain while riding a unicycle and juggling.

 Impossible.

The end goal of everything is to become perfect, but we don't have to do it all at once. That can lead to frustration and giving up. Those are two of the adversaries favorite tools.

You read about these on popular women's blogs. But I don't think that people realize how much it effects youth. We can feel the pressure of "being perfect" because we are the rising generation. The world is dark and taunting. The halls of school bring this to a peak. It can be a lot of pressure to be the one who has to stand up.

The rest of this article was amazing so I'll let you check it out here.
Please read it!

What was your favorite part?

Hope you have an amazing fantastic day!

PS: I wrote about this a little bit before..... You measure up!
PPS: Sorry about the crazy header.... I'm trying to redo my design but it's kind of messed up right now.

Picture Trouble

I'm just wondering. Are there any other bloggers out there that are having trouble inserting pictures into their post? I have quite a few posts written and ready to post (and a few guest posts!) but I can't because blogger won't let me insert pics. Any advice? Is it time to move to wordpress?
Hope you are having a great day!
-Shelby

Post Edit Note: Photobucket fixed my problem! It does take a little longer, but it does the trick! You just have to upload them and then copy the HTML code. Then switch from "compose" to "HTML" at the top of your post. Just paste the code and switch back to compose, your picture should be there.

How far I've come with some blog tips mixed in

Today I'm going to be taking a small trip down memory lane..... How far my photography has come and blogging in general has come in just one short year. (I recently celebrated my 1st blogaversay!)

Here is my first blog header, it isn't the most terrible thing in the world, just pretty generic, and dark, and hard to read. Yeah, I guess it was pretty bad:)

{First Post}

 Here is my current blog header. A lot better definitely! Not exactly where I want to be, but better. The other major change I made at this point was to change my background color to plain white. I highly recommend this! The other background would never load and white gives your blog a less distracting feel.
 This was originally in my sidebar and there are a lot of problems with it! You can barely read it because the font is too small and it looks pretty cheap.
 Recently I switched to a picture of me with a short paragraph under it. I like this much better because it feels a lot more crisp and clean, plus it adds a more personal touch because it includes a picture.
  My first DIY post included a picture like this:

{Cherry Crisp}
 And this: Thank goodness that I've improved! The photos are grainy and I don't really like to instructions on the picture anymore. I remember being super proud of this post though... probably because it was only my 3rd:)

This is a little later and the photography is MUCH better, plus I realized you don't always need a picture for every step :)

{3 Step Mousepad DIY}

I started with this in my sidebar:

And then switched to this. The rectangular shape is much better for sidebars, the words fit nicer, and it is a little "cleaner", if you know what I mean. I recently decided to move it to my footheader and I like it there a lot better.

This was my original "sign off". It wasn't made that blurry, just making it this big makes it look blurry.

 Love this one so much better! The fonts, colors, clarity. Everything!
The next few pictures show how my photography and design has improved:

Blurry, plus the colors don't mix well and the background is too distracting.

{Acorn of honest Inquiry}

I still really like this one. I feel like it is pretty simple, but still cute.
{I'm Grateful for ...in Pics}

I also really like the following three. These are some of the first times I combined my graphic design with my photos.

{You measure up... A Lesson in comparison}

{Life is Beautiful}

{Shine}
These are some of my favorite photos.

{I'm proud to be an American}

{Seeing the Beauty}

I was trying to change things up by using a journal entry and taking an artistic picture of it and using that instead of taking the time to make a whole other "title picture" for my post or even worse leaving it pictureless. (gasp!:)
{And the people came running}

Recently I made a blog instagram account- my first social media outlet for my blog! (Hint-you should follow me:)
{We are on Instagram!}

This isn't meant to make anyone feel bad, it's mostly for my fun and to give you hope:). If you are doing some of the things I used to and now think are not my best moments, that's ok. Everyone's style is different and everyone is in a completely different place. So even if you aren't happy with where you are right now, just know there is hope for your future:) Some people say you have to take expensive courses or whatnot to be a good blogger. I 100% disagree with this, will it speed you up? Maybe. But it is totally possible to learn without paying a lot of money. I have never taken a class, but I have read many free tutorials online. A lot of my pictures are edited and/or taken on my phone because that's what I have with me. I still make hundreds of mistakes and we all know I'm not the most consistent blogger:)

How to make your Brownies 10x better in one easy step!

I love brownies- they are so easy to make and are super yummy! I also love chocolate. Who doesn't?
There is nothing better than ooey gooey chocolatey brownies fresh out of the oven!
But, although mixes are yummy and easy, they don't always have ooey gooey chocolatey part.

But you can change that in one super, easy step with ingredients you have on hand!

All you have to do is:

That's it! Nothing else. You just follow the directions on the package and add the chocolate chips.
Bam. Done. Over. Instantly better brownies.

Just in case you are wondering- it doesn't matter what kind of chocolate chips you use. I usually use semi- sweet, but I have also used milk chocolate and that is super yummy too! I have also tried putting in Hershey M&Ms and peanut butter chips. All wonderfully delicious!

I promise it works! Do have any easy secret baking tips?
